77 Rockets website hosting terms
These terms explain how website hosting works with 77 Rockets, what is included, what is not included, and what both sides are responsible for.
They are written to be clear and easy to understand. If anything is unclear, please ask us before agreeing to or continuing with the service.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to clients whose website is hosted by 77 Rockets.
They cover website hosting only. They do not automatically cover website design, website development, content updates, SEO, marketing, branding, email services, domain registration, WordPress admin access, plugin management, or any other service unless agreed separately in writing.
By paying for hosting, using our hosting service, or continuing to use hosting provided by 77 Rockets, you agree to these hosting terms.
2. 77 Hosting
Website hosting provided by 77 Rockets is run through our 77 Hosting servers.
In some older records, invoices, settings, technical references or account details, this may also appear as Graphic Junkie Hosting. Graphic Junkie Hosting was the historic name used for the same hosting setup.
3. What our hosting includes
Our standard website hosting is for websites hosted by 77 Rockets.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, hosting includes:
- Hosting for your website
- SSL certificate provision
- Monthly security software updates
- Basic server-level maintenance
- Reasonable monitoring of the hosting environment
- Hosting-related support
Our hosting covers both ecommerce and non-ecommerce websites. Different hosting packages and costs may apply depending on the type, size and usage of the website.
4. What our hosting does not include
Hosting does not automatically include:
- Website content updates
- Design changes
- New pages
- New functionality
- SEO work
- Copywriting
- Marketing support
- Email hosting
- Email account setup
- Device support for email, such as phones, tablets or computers
- Domain registration or renewal
- WordPress admin support
- Plugin management outside agreed security updates
- Third-party software support
- Training
- Malware cleanup or repair work caused by third-party access, external changes or suspicious activity
- Fixing issues caused by services, software, code or access not supplied or controlled by 77 Rockets
If work is needed outside the hosting service, we may quote for it separately.
5. Access to the hosting environment
To maintain a high-quality, secure and stable hosting environment, 77 Rockets controls direct access to each client’s hosting package.
We do not normally provide clients, third-party developers, marketing agencies, SEO providers, IT companies or other business partners with direct hosting control panel, FTP, SFTP, database or server access.
This is for security, stability and performance reasons. It helps protect your website, other hosted websites, the wider server environment and our backup systems.
Where hosting access or technical changes are needed, these should usually be requested through 77 Rockets.
If direct hosting access is required by the client and we agree to provide it, access may be limited, temporary and provided at the client’s own risk. If that access leads to suspicious activity, malware, instability, unauthorised changes, security concerns or cleanup work, any investigation, repair, recovery or security work may be charged separately.
6. Security software updates
Our hosting includes monthly security software updates.
These updates are carried out to help maintain the security and stability of the hosted website and hosting environment.
Although updates are important, no website or hosting service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Software updates, third-party code, external services and website activity can sometimes create unexpected issues.
If an issue is caused by third-party access, suspicious activity, external code, client-requested changes or software outside our control, any investigation or repair work may be charged separately.
7. Backups
We run regular backups as part of the hosting service.
Our backup system normally keeps:
- The previous day’s backup
- The previous week’s backup
- The previous month’s backup
- Backups from the last three months
Backups are provided as a safety measure, not as a guaranteed archive service.
Although we make reasonable efforts to keep useful backups, we do not guarantee that a backup will be available, complete, free from corruption, or capable of fully restoring the website.
Clients should keep their own copies of important content, images, documents, order information, customer data, product data, enquiries, business records and anything else they may need to retain separately.
If a website needs to be restored from backup, we will make reasonable efforts to assist. Restore work may be chargeable depending on the cause, complexity and time required.
8. Fair use
Our hosting is provided on a fair-use basis.
Most standard business websites will remain well within normal usage levels. However, if your website uses unusually high levels of bandwidth, storage, server resources, database activity, processing power or backup space, we may contact you to discuss the issue and agree a suitable solution.
High usage may be caused by large files, heavy traffic, excessive bot activity, ecommerce activity, large product catalogues, large media libraries, unusual database usage, poorly optimised code or other technical factors.
To protect the quality, speed, security and stability of the wider hosting environment, we reserve the right to limit, suspend, move or adjust services that place unreasonable demand on the hosting platform.
Where a website needs more resources than its current hosting package provides, we may recommend a hosting upgrade or revised monthly fee.
9. Email services
Hosting with 77 Rockets does not generally include email hosting.
We usually recommend that clients use a dedicated email service such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or a similar professional email provider.
77 Rockets is not responsible for email services unless email support has been agreed separately in writing.
This means we are not normally responsible for email account setup, email delivery problems, spam filtering, device setup, mailbox storage, email migration, email loss, email blacklisting, or issues caused by third-party email providers.
10. Domains
Domain names are not included as part of these hosting terms unless agreed separately.
You are responsible for making sure the domain name connected to your website remains active, renewed and correctly pointed to the hosting service.
If the domain expires, is cancelled, is transferred incorrectly, or stops pointing to the hosting service, your website may go offline.
77 Rockets is not responsible for website downtime caused by domain issues outside our control.
11. Website data and privacy
You are responsible for any personal data, customer data or business data collected, stored, submitted or processed through your website.
This may include enquiry forms, contact forms, customer accounts, ecommerce orders, payment-related information, analytics, cookies, mailing list signups, uploaded files or any other data collected through the website.
Under these hosting terms, 77 Rockets is providing website hosting only. We are not acting as your data processor, data protection officer, legal adviser or compliance consultant.
It is your responsibility to make sure your website is legally compliant, including any privacy policy, cookie notice, data handling process, consent wording, ecommerce terms or other legal information your website may need.
77 Rockets is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Our ICO registration reference is ZB422872. This does not remove or reduce your own responsibilities for any data collected, stored, processed or passed through your website.
12. Acceptable use
You must not use our hosting service for anything unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, insecure or likely to damage 77 Rockets, our clients, our suppliers, the hosting environment or any third party.
You must not use the hosting service to host, store, send, link to or distribute:
- Malware, viruses, spyware or harmful code
- Phishing pages, scams or fraudulent material
- Spam or unsolicited bulk messages
- Stolen, pirated or copyright-infringing material
- Material that breaches another person’s rights
- Illegal content
- Content that is threatening, abusive, defamatory or malicious
- Content that could damage the security, performance or reputation of the hosting environment
If we believe your website or hosting account is being used in a way that creates legal, security, performance or reputational risk, we may suspend or restrict the service while the issue is investigated.
13. Support
For hosting support, please email hello@77rockets.com.
Support emails are monitored around the clock so that urgent issues can be picked up where possible. However, most support requests, non-urgent issues and general hosting queries are handled during the normal working week.
Hosting support covers reasonable investigation of hosting-related issues.
It does not automatically include website edits, design changes, new functionality, SEO work, content updates, email setup, third-party software support, training, marketing support, plugin support, WordPress admin support, or work outside the hosting service.
If a request falls outside hosting support, we may quote for the work separately.
14. Payments
Hosting is billed monthly unless agreed otherwise in writing.
We recommend paying by direct debit to help avoid missed payments and service disruption.
Hosting fees must be paid on time to keep the service active. Your hosting fee covers the ongoing cost of server space, bandwidth, SSL provision, security software updates, software licensing, backup storage, monitoring and hosting-related support.
If your hosting account becomes two months overdue, we may suspend your website and related hosting services until the account is brought up to date.
If your hosting account becomes three months overdue, we may terminate the hosting service. Once hosting is terminated for non-payment, website files, databases, backups and other related hosting data may be permanently removed and may not be recoverable.
77 Rockets is not responsible for loss of enquiries, sales, traffic, rankings, profits, data, business or reputation caused by suspension or termination due to non-payment.
15. Price reviews
Hosting fees are reviewed annually.
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, hosting fees will increase on 1 April each year by either 5%; or the Retail Prices Index increase, also known as RPI; whichever is higher.
This annual increase applies to clients who started using our hosting service on or before 30 September of the previous year.
For example, if you started using our hosting service before 30 September 2026, your hosting fee may increase on 1 April 2027. If you started using our hosting service after 30 September 2026, your first annual increase would normally apply from 1 April 2028.
This annual price review helps us cover increases in server costs, data centre costs, software licensing, security tools, backup and storage costs, bandwidth usage, supplier price changes, inflation and the level of technical support required to provide the service properly.
We will give you reasonable notice before any annual hosting price increase takes effect.
16. Cancellation
Hosting cancellation requires three months’ written notice.
This means three further monthly payment rotations will remain payable after notice is given, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
During the notice period, your usual hosting fees will continue to be payable and the hosting service will continue to be provided, subject to these terms.
Before hosting can be cancelled, transferred or closed, all outstanding invoices and hosting fees must be paid in full.
It is your responsibility to make sure your website, data, domain, email setup and any related services are moved, backed up or otherwise dealt with before the end of the notice period.
17. Moving your website away
If you wish to move your website away from 77 Rockets hosting, we can provide reasonable technical assistance where possible.
Migration support is chargeable and will be billed in line with our current pricing, which can be found here:
https://www.77rockets.com/service-price-list/
This may include work such as file preparation, database export, DNS support, technical checks, email guidance, liaison with another provider or other migration-related tasks.
We cannot guarantee that another hosting provider will support the website in the same way, provide the same performance, or be compatible with the website setup.
Once a website has moved away from our hosting, 77 Rockets is no longer responsible for its performance, security, updates, backups, uptime, email delivery, technical support or any issues caused by the new hosting environment.
18. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate hosting if:
- Hosting fees are overdue
- The website creates security concerns
- The website creates performance issues for the hosting environment
- The website is involved in suspicious activity
- The website is being used unlawfully
- The website breaches these terms
- The client requests third-party access and that access leads to security, stability or suspicious activity concerns
- Continuing to host the website could damage 77 Rockets, our clients, our suppliers, the server environment or any third party
Where possible, we will try to contact you before suspending or terminating hosting. However, urgent action may be needed without notice if there is a security, legal, technical or reputational risk.
After hosting is suspended or terminated, website files, databases, backups and related data may be removed from our systems and may not be recoverable.
19. Uptime and service availability
We aim to provide a reliable hosting service with strong availability.
Our hosting service has an uptime target of 99.95%, measured across the hosting service itself. This target does not include planned maintenance, emergency maintenance, security work, domain issues, DNS issues, third-party service outages, problems caused by the client or their suppliers, cyber attacks, unusually high traffic, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
No hosting service can guarantee uninterrupted service at all times. Hosting may occasionally be affected by maintenance, updates, security work, technical faults, supplier issues, data centre problems, network issues, third-party outages, high traffic, cyber attacks, domain issues or other circumstances outside our control.
If we become aware of an issue affecting hosting availability, we will aim to investigate and resolve it as quickly as reasonably possible.
77 Rockets is not responsible for loss of enquiries, sales, traffic, rankings, profits, data, business or reputation caused by downtime, disruption, suspension, technical faults, third-party services, domain issues or circumstances outside our control.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these hosting terms from time to time.
The latest version will apply to ongoing hosting services unless we have agreed something different with you in writing.
If we make a significant change, we will aim to give reasonable notice.
By continuing to use hosting provided by 77 Rockets after updated terms have been issued, you agree to the updated terms.
